hi i jsut got a cisco aironet 1231g-a-k9 for a present and wanted to use wpa but to use it, it wants a radius server to athenicate to. i know i can set up the radius server on the access point but id rather use my server i already got. my question is is there any guides on how to setup a radius server for a cisco ap or something that will help me with a easy how to. any help would be great. thanks

do you have more than one access point?

if not you are better off using the access points server, more reliable

no i only got the one for a present for getting my A+ cert. its jsut i perfer having it on my server sense with experience of my linksys ap the mroe i have running the less reliable it is. but havent ever used cisco till now so i guess it is alot differnt

cisco stuff tends to be pretty bullet proof (even though Linksys is cisco, but linksys stuff is pretty good, but cisco didn't start linksys, they bought them out)
