apple.com down for several hours?

I tried several hours ago and now and can't reach www.apple.com
The rest of the internet works fine so I'm wondering whether
the apple site is down, if so, does anyone know for what reason?

Hmm... very weird.. I tried booting from windowsXP as well - didn't work either.
I can visit anything except this site..

Site's fine. Do you have something like PeerGuardian going? It's been known to block Apple.
