I have been playing with it since 2 or 3 months and i love it. Very fast, exactly what i needed for an 1,2 ghz laptop with 256 MB of ram. Love it.

useing it now :)
not bad at all....
but still not as close as good as puppy
no out-of-box flash,mp3 however design is great.

if puppy would look like TinyME or Slitaz then it
would be the perfect small distro IMHO
:)

Just installed on my laptop, and it's fantastic. Apperently though, there was a problem with the initial release, resulting in a "non working" Synaptic, so if you grabbed it early, then it may be a good idea to check Synaptic & make sure that it works OK, or D/L the "updated" iso.

What a brilliant small distro this is though. It's staying on my laptop for some time most definitely! :)

Installed in on an old 1,6 GHZ Dell with 256 MB RAM and it runs very well.

I will have to try it. I am still working on that old computer (see blog) and the PCLinuxOS live cd ran (which surprised me) but installing didn't work very well.

I have never seen those distros but TEENpup is pretty, slick, and pretty slick.
Edit:
Going to bittorrent TineMe and see if it is what I need. Is it good for fixing a computer like Puppy Linux?

I tried it last year, and X said it didn't find any screens. It's the only distro that has that problem for me.

This distro is VERY nice. I just started using it on my 1gig USB stick. I'm hoping to be able to use it on my older laptop that has a wireless Broadcom PCMCIA card.

After trying Tinyme 2008, I'm curious as to what PCLOS 2008 (the full version) will be like?!? It may rock on... :guitar:

Awww darn it's to big for my USB drive it's only 128MB.

Maybe I can delete some files in the ISO... Like wallpapers ect...

this is an excellent small distro, but unfortunately won't fully boot with my pcmcia wireless card in! will boot ok without, and looks very promising though. look forward to improvements :-)
