ok - Opera 9.27 - Xubuntu 8.04 - the standard (stupid) Beta Firefox
ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!
I'm a novice here - Ubuntu user for a few years but pls pretend like I'm new
I can't get Flashplayer working in Opera - the Opera install is through Synaptic (Opera 9.27)
I will start from scratch - but I have already tried the simple "apt-get install flashplayer-nonfree"
that works for the (stupid) Firefox BETA - but I don't like to use the (pseudo)open-source Firefox - I like to use a quality browser that doesn't depend completely on hype
I'll happily to start from scratch - or just if anyone could give any hints to what Flash versions are working for others in Opera
(Mods - if this post gets moved I will fully understand - I'm really kinda ranting now. Thanks for understanding)
Oh - pls don't just tell me to just to get Opera 3 beta - but if that is really the only way then pls let me know
I'm really at "wits end" here (and really tired) - thanks
