I use Transmission to d/load torrent file. The problem right now is very slow d/load speed. So far these are steps I have taken:
1) Setup Static IP
2) Define Incoming TCP Port in Transmission
3) Port forward in router (use Static IP and TCP port)
4) Setup rules in Firestarter
Any d/load speed still slow. Any suggestion to boost the speed.

Also how many seeders there are. If there aren't very many seeders than no matter what you will do the speed will not be very good.

Problem with torrents are that they rely on seeders.

You can have everything setup properly and if there are very few seeders then your transfer rate will suck.
