hi,

i successfully installed the booted into ubuntu using the guide on pendrivelinux. but the problem is that it is not persistent? how do i check if its persistent? if not how do i make it so? i have done the entire guide properly and ubuntu is loading also perfectly. but it does not allow me to save the changes? am i missing something here?

also whats the minimum usb size in which i can do a full blown installation? will 2gb work?

thanks,

anant

google is your friend. Here is an ubuntu doc on persistent usb installs.

good luck,

Create a small text file in your home directory and reboot. If the file is still there, it's persistent. If it's not there, then it's not persistent :-)
