Have you started this yet? hardly anyone uses sendmail anymore because it is difficult to set up and not very secure. You could try Postfix which is a drop in replacement for sendmail.

If you are going to set up a full blown mail server I would suggest looking at Zimbra. http://www.zimbra.com/community/downloads.html

well I want to use google stmp server for right now intill I get a other pc or upgrade the hard drive.

You can set up your mail client to do that. What is the point? What are you trying to achieve here?

well i do sell products so I need to send emails to my customers from my server that is my whole point.
