I'm actually looking for a detailed HOWTO that will walk me through the process of customizing setting for all new users.
What I've learned so far is that I should create a user, then, once I've set everything up, copy the entire home directory over to /etc/skel/.
Whatever the correct method is, I'm looking for a detailed how to for Ubuntu Hardy. You see I'm trying to use remastersys to make a distributable copy of my desktop for my friends and family to use but can't because I lack this knowledge.
