In Ubuntu, if you don't have Internet, you can get packages by going to: http://packages.ubuntu.com/
Is there something like this in Mandriva Linux One? Thanks for the help. :D

well if you don't have internet how do you access http://packages.ubuntu.com/?
and yes, mandriva one has the package manager configured to download and install packages from the repos, just like synaptic (besides the various apps that come with the livecd)

You misunderstood.
If I don't have Internet on my Ubuntu computer, all I need to do is go onto a computer at my school, go to http://packages.ubuntu.com/ and download a .deb package.
Is there something like that for Mandriva Linux?

you're welcome. I've installed Mandriva One 2008.1 from the livecd a week ago and I'm very pleased with it :). hope you'll experience the same positive experience

there is also RPM search at Pbone too:
RPM search (http://rpm.pbone.net/)
It has RPMS for many distributions listed.
