Is there anyway to get something like the macs show all windows when u press f9? thanks in advance.

Yes, it's the scale plugin in Compiz. First, make sure you have compiz running, then install compizconfig-settings-manager and enable the scale plugin. You can the the F9 key, or any other key, as hotkey for that action.

I like Compiz mouse shortcuts - whereby you can activate a plugin by moving the mouse to the screen corner.

I have mine set-up to activate Scale when I move the mouse pointer to the bottom left corner. I find it a faster manoeuver with a laptop trackpad than keyboard shortcuts.

Who said Compiz was all about show and no substance? :)

What are the other hotkeys used for macs? Like what do F10 and F11, etc. do?

F10 in mac shows only windows from the current application and F11 hides all windows (Show Desktop compiz plugin ;))

Does F12 or F8 do anything interesting with the windows? Or an other F buttons?

F8 - shows spaces = Compiz Expo-plugin
F12 - shows dashboard (widgets) = Compiz Widget layer-plugin

I can't set a keybinding or hot spot for 'Show Desktop' option. Can anyone plz tell me where I can do that?
