Hi, I am trying to get a keyboard of mine to work on 8.04 (and previously 7.10) but it will not function. It does work before the OS boots. All it does after Ubuntu loads is turn all of the lock LEDs on. It also shows up correctly in the hardware manager, and the touchpad that is integrated into it works fine - odd because they share the same USB port.
I have tried all 4 USB ports that my system gives me and none work for this particular keyboard. Other USB keyboards function properly. I have also tried several other units of the same model keyboard and the problem persists with all of them. I have the feeling this issue would not be a problem if I wasn't such a Linux noob but hey you gotta start somewhere...help please? Thanks!
