I am not sure if this is the right place but i noticed the following problem:
I am running Release 8.04 (hardy) Kernel Linux 2.6.24-16.generic with 2 intel pentium 4 processors. I have an Nvidia EN7300Gs graphics card with 2 monitors attached to it. AWN seems to run fine apart from occasional hickups on my system. however when i connect to an external head node of a cluster using ssh -X i encounter the following problem:
I open "kate" which works fine but when i click on it in the AWN bar at the bottom the computer crushes every single time, using ALT+ Tab to get back to the window works however.
The head node of the cluster runs centos, could that have something to do with this? Or is it really just a compiz/awn bug?
