Hi!
I tried to install mythbuntu 8.04 yesterday and by the end of the procedure it failed due to dependency errors.
I am not sure exactly but I think I selected:
* MythTV Front-end
* MythTV Backend Master
* MythTV Commons
* SSHD Server
* Pinnacle PCTV LIRC
I did not manage to copy the list of dpkg-failures but LIRC was on the top.
I will retry installing without LIRC and see what happens.
