View Full Version : [ubuntu] BIOS Upgrade screws up install disc

I upgraded the BIOS on my XPS M1530, and now the mouse refuses to work in any fashion on the Hardy install disc. It is twitchy and glitchy and jumps all over the screen and I can't install Hardy.

Mouse works fine in Windows XP, and worked in install disc before upgrading from A06 to A08.

That's all fine and dandy, but I can't install Hardy to get to that point.

Nevermind, I installed Gutsy and used the Update Manager to get to Hardy.

Not ideal, but it worked. :lolflag:
