There was a many page thread about broken printers. Where is it?
I have set up the same printer in CUPS, many times, different distros. Now there is a problem.

Please point me to the right area.

Have you tried installing the package "cupsys-driver-gimpprint-data" from Universe? If you have, did you delete any preexisting configurations before adding printers? This solved the problem for me, but maybe you have a unique printer.
