black screen in poser 7

I got the wine download and ran Poser 7 - installed fine, but in the display area for the character the window is black. I can render and it will display.But the character window is black,
"black as night, I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky",.. oh sorry I got carried away with the Rolling Stones.
Any one have any ideas? :!:

I got the same problem and googled and found this thread...
Then I solved the problem by switching from OpenGL mode to SreeD in the preview window. Sreed mode is a bit slow though. :(
