View Full Version : [ubuntu] IRC or other chat where is everyone.

I was wondering what a good IRC client was for hardy Ive only used Mirc
I would use other chat services but not many seem geared towards tech talk
aim chat didnt even have a computers room listed geez, but ill take any suggestions im interested in linux,computers,programming for beginners
mostly python. Do most people just hang out at the forums,just wanting to expand my interaction.

alot of people hang out at the forums, alot more than most forums, so you might be okay there.

As to a good IRC client, I use xchat. Once you get in the you can bring up the chanel listings. Most of the Ubuntu chanels have people in them at all times

If you really want to learn on the how's and why's of computers, Linux to be specific, this forum is good for you. Here, you can brainstorm with others, share ideas on solving specific problems, and most of all, you can view previous/old solutions to problems encountered before by our forum co-members. Hang on to this forum, and it's worth it.

Thanks for the suggestions,I do think this is one of the best forums I've every been on most everyone seems very helpful and friendly.:)
