I was wondering if some of you could give me feed back on the first web page that I created and programmed by hand.
Also when you comment if you could share your resolution and browser type, it would be much appreciated.

I'm quite impressed. Maybe use another font. You can find nice ones at dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com), but otherwise it is very nice, and for me its quite fast.

Maybe also do something similar to the blue rays in the image I attached for the background. It will make the site less plain, but make it a bit transparent so that it doesn't take all the focus. Also if you do it use colors that contrast well with the text and the other images on the page. That's just my two cents.70996

The music wasn't fluid, more like in bits and when I closed the page it kept playing.. I had to Force Quit my browser. Also, I'd suggest using a nicer font.
I use Opera 9.50 Beta 2

I have a good connection (about 3mbps), but I was running Epiphany. I seem to be having problems with that browser. Back on Firefox now and running smoothly.
So yeah, looks great, just waiting on more content I suppose? Also, the music doesn't really work well for me either...

Running Firefox (stock in Ubuntu Hardy).
Tried viewing in 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200.
Tried turning JavaScript off too.
Tried turning images off also.
Everything seems to be working well. :)
Except for the album when images are turned off, which is perfectly understandable. It's good that you kept the alternate text, but perhaps, putting the album in the context of a UL or OL will serve you better?
I'm a bit interested on what you plan to do with the "About" page when more content arrives though.
Good job for a first time hand-coder. Cheers!
