I'm getting closer to having my Myth box in a usable state. I have 2 remaining issues. The one I need help with is - on some channels I get a fine picture watching live TV, but on other channels the left 2 inches of the screen have little color, almost black and white. If the OSD is up, in that 2 inch range the white channel numbers will ghost to the left about an inch in a dark color. This is connected by VGA to my Olevia 32" LCD TV at it's native resolution 1366 x 768.

I have good signal on some OTA DTV channels and marginal on others, but this problem doesn't seem to correlate with signal strength. And since the signal is a pure MPEG-2 transport stream, I don't think the receiver card is the problem. I did recently switch from VESA display driver (with horribly choppy playback, but didn't notice this problem) to self compiled SiS drivers http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=615094&highlight=M671&page=8

Is this likely caused by my newly compiled video drivers, or is it probably a coincidence? Is there anything I can do to try to resolve it?

Thanks.
