Hi all...

I'm using mythbuntu 8.04 with a mceusb remote and a motorola dct2524 digital cable box and everything is now setup and working perfectly, the ir blaster changes the channels with no problems except for my channels 2-99.

When changing channels on this set top box with the regular remote for it, I have to enter 3 digits to change channels, for example to change to channel 53, I must key 053 into the remote. I'm not sure if the channel change script is at fault for dropping the leading zero, or if it is mythtv. I've tried editing the channel numbers in mythtv so that channel 53 is now 053 but it still won't work.

Regardless, most of my channels are under 100 so it is something I'd like to get working.

If anyone has fixed this issue or can point me in the right direction would be appreciated.

solved:

I found a setting for auto tuning in the set top box config :)

Many Thanks! Your's was the only post I could find on this topic. I looked up how to adjust my cable box and I have my Mythbox back doing what it does best. Helping me avoid commercials.
