create MPEG Slideshow not working

Hello so I am using Gwenview's Create MPEG Slideshow dialog right now. I am running an up to date version of kubuntu 8.04 and when I add everything and then press encode it immediatetly says the encode process has terminated and nothing is created. here is the process messageTHE COMMAND LINE IS :

I have not idea what to do. anyone have any ideas?

I have the same problem using digiKam; any solutions yet?

I have the same issue!!
Have no idea what to do and search a lot about this issue!!
I am now looking for an other program to do the same unless someone has a good suggestion.

digikam works, but you have to install mpeg123 and mjpegtools via synaptic.
