I thought of making a modest donation, but saw on this page - http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php?page=about - that, "We are not accepting donations at this time as our reserve is full." Is this still the case?
I also saw that Canonical made a generous donation, that is nice, an aknowledgement, I think, of the way these forums help the ever rising popularity of Ubuntu.
I started to use Ubuntu with one of the 'warty' betas, and there was very little documentation available, but after a month or so (Sept. 04 was it?) these forums started, and I registered (I am Nº 58 ) and, looking back, I must say that without the forums I don't think I would have lasted long with Ubuntu (or maybe Linux in general, for that matter).
