Clear mythdatabase

OK so Im having problems (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=800453) with my new Nova-T 500, all I want to know here is can I safely delete the stored guide data somehow and start again with mythfilldatabase? I assume it is seperate to the recordings database.

And if so, how?
