Weird beeping after resume from suspend

My system beeps for 2 to 3 seconds after waking up from suspend, seems to happen even if the PC speaker sound is disabled in gnome. It happens about 50% of the time. Really weird, but only happened after a clean install of 8.04, never before. Anyone have a clue on how to fix?

I got the same problem on my XPS m1330.

It seems kind off random tho, some times it works just fine.

Any ideas?

I get it too on a dell xps m1210 running ubuntu. My sounds also stutters when I suspend but that is more likely a sound subsystem issue, although if I recall correctly the beeps come through my speakers, i.e. its not the pc speaker
