Was it working before you upgraded to the amd64 specific version (or did you do that at install time)? Is anything else not working?
One thing that can help is to run the command from a terminal. For example, select Applications | System Tools | Terminal (or your favourite CLI) and type oowriter. This should open the Open Office Wordprocessor and write feedback messages to the terminal, which might give some clues.
I had a problem at home this lunchtime (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=7943) and opening the broken applications (Thunderbird and Firefox) didn't give me an exact answer but did start to suggest a few clues about what I'd done and how to fix it (trying to install some extra fonts in a hurry).

Thanks very much!
But another question occured. When I Run oowriter in terminal , it display "I18n:X window system doesn't support zh_cn.utf8", then the content of file is China ,but the title of file in OO is not China. What can I do ,please.

Are you running Ubuntu in Chinese? I'm afraid that's a little beyond my experience but perhaps someone else can step in.
