Cant change volume

first when i installed Ubuntu my ears almost got blown out, and then when i tried to fix my problem my ears did get blown out. i can not change the volume in any way. using my keyboard controls i can make the volume bar go up and down but no change happens. i have a soundblaster audigy SE and i looked for drivers and i couldnt find any. ive gone through as many settings as possible and none of them do a thing.

thanks a bunch that worked but now is there a way to make it so my keyboard controls and the volume control on the top right of the screen to control the volume i need to be controled? its volume front which im connected to.
