I'm first time using ubuntu. where can i get drivers for my inspiron 1521??? I need although wifi driver...

Hey folks. I'm having the same issue, although I'm a little more experienced. I'm doing an install for a friend, but I always seem to have issues with Dell.
The wireless isn't working, and I was also hoping to find a decent sources list to work with for this machine.
Every time I try to activate the driver, it asks me to insert the disc, even though the disc is in.
The specs are: Athlon64/Opteron X1200
Ethernet ControllerBCM4401-B0
Network Controller BCM94311MCG
I neglected to think that this is a 64 bit system, and installed the 32 bit. Would this make a difference, or should I leave it be?
I'd love to be able to show off Ubuntu for her so she can totally ditch Vista, but I think I'm in over my head a bit.
