I'm a little flustered about this. I'm running Gutsy 7.10, my video card is a Radeon X300 (PCIE).I've been trying for the last two days to set up my dual monitors. I've read many guides to help get an idea, most helpful was the link below

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=301941

So far I've amounted to getting nowhere fast. I've tried fresh install, I get my drivers installed fine

jgallios@jgallios-desktop:~$ fglrxinfo -display :0
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL renderer string: Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series
OpenGL version string: 2.1.7412 Release

My problem is when i try to run sudo aticonfig --query-monitor I get this

jgallios@jgallios-desktop:~$ sudo aticonfig --query-monitor
Connected monitors: none
Enabled monitors: none

Anyone have any idea to fix this? I'm tired of staring at a clone screens :(
