Hello all, thanks in advance for the help.

I've been pouring over previous posts, but can't seem to get my wireless card recognized.

I have a Gateway laptop model ml6721 was running vista, but just can't deal with the windows anymore.

I installed ubuntu, and my wired connection is working, but not the wireless. I have found my driver, and installed it, but when I run iwconfig it just says "no wireless connection". Its a Realtek card and the driver listed is net8187b.inf.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be very thankful.

iwconfig
l0 no wireless extensions

eth0 no wireless extensions
