I'm in the Bartlett area.
But I want to know if there are any classes on Ubuntu offered anywhere in Memphis.

Hi CB3, I am not aware of any ubuntu classes, but you can get lots of help through IRC in the #ubuntu and #ubuntu-us-tn (the Tennessee Team IRC channel) channels on irc.freenode.net.

Is there something specific that you wantto learn how to do in Ubuntu?

There is https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Training, which has a 348-page PDF on using Ubuntu on the desktop that may be of help. It is based on Ubuntu 8.04, but I would imagine most of it is still applicable if you are using a newer version.
