[SOLVED] Applications Menu is Locked!

All,

Since installing Hardy, I am unable to add or remove menus and items in the main Applications menu (up on the top panel).

Does anyone know what would cause this? This is just the latest in a long line of Hardy screw-ups.

Oops, my bad. Boy, do I feel stupid. Not Hardy's fault (although there's still plenty of bugs in it) but this turned out to be a real easy one.

I just found out like a novice that if nothing under a menu is selected, then the menu itself cannot be added.
