Please help me calibrate my joystick.

I've been trying to figure out how to calibrate my joystick for FlightGear for a few hours now but haven't found a solution. When I try to fly it rolls to the left dives without any input.I've tried jscalibrator but all that does is disable my joystick. I've also tried the fgjs command but it dosent count down when I use it. Is there a way I can do it manually?

Try joystick (in the repositories), aknisely. It installs 2 command line utilities, jscal and jstest - although it's nothing to do with jscalibrator and doesn't mess your directional controls up! ;)

I used the jscal command but i dont know how to use it.

AIR if you just enter jscal (may be jscal --help) you'll get a list of switches and syntax, aknisely.
