hello there!
I have been enjoying my stay in Ubuntu 8.04 for about a week or so.
my only problem is the soundcard. right now i use a external Soundblaster Live. but i only gets sound out of my front speakers and none from the rear. The only volyme controll i get in Alsamixer is called PCM. i have tried lots of diffrent methods but none really worked so now i thought i should look for another USB soundcard.
I read somewhere that the Aureon 5.1 USB MK II should work fine, pretty much out of box in ubuntu. anyone have any experience about this card? or maybe another USB card that works great in ubuntu? priceclass around $80 (yepp i know im cheap, but i just want to listen to music throu 4speakers) =)
