Finally dumped Vista and just started using Linux. It's great! I have a question regarding Video conversion quality. My DVD player is capable of playing DIVX. I can burn a data disk in that format. However, I'm under the impression that the quality will be better if I convert it to an iso using Devede and then burn to a DVD. Will the image quality be better or does my DVD player convert the divx on the fly? Lastly, I have surround sound and want the best audio quality I can get on downloaded Divx. Any suggestions?
