Adding Icons to Shortcuts

OK i just duel booted my PC and I am running Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy.. I am a new user of Linux and i am have one thing that i can't figure out.. how after u get a shortcut to your games on the desktop do u edit the shortcut to add a custom icon aka the quake3 sign or Doom3 sign .. these 2 games i installed no problem using the installers from ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com but i can't get the icons to show is there a way.. plz help?

From here you can edit the launchers.

thx ..i also figured out that if u right click on the desktop top and select creeat new lancher u can add icons at that time aswell.. thx again..
