[SOLVED] OpenArena starts with a blank screen

Should do it.

I just change Visual Effects to "None" (System>Preferences>Appearance>Visual Effects>None)

and it worked. By the way thank you AI for your help.

It's recommenable that you install fusion-icon, then you can easely turn compiz on/off by point'n'click. Put it in sessions so it starts up everytime.
