I was wondering how expandable the Koala Mini is. Is there room inside for a TV Tuner, so MythTV can be run?

Just by looking at it:

I would say that if it is external, sure, but certainly not internal. Then comes the fun in finding a compatible external option. :)

For my money, A Sable Performance might make more sense. You still get a living room appearance friendly device, but have room to add to it.

Pinnacle.
They make a rather nice set of TV card that have External interfaces. So if you have a USB port your in safe there.

I use a Plextor ConvertX PX-TV402U. It does onboard MPEG 4 encoding (which is nice on your CPU), and it works nicely with MythTV. It's got a large price tag, and takes some work to set up, but I think it's definitely worthwhile.

The hdhomerun is supposed to be a pretty nice external tuner and well supported by mythtv. I don't have any personal experience with it though.
