Is Avermedia PCI-E M780 supported?

I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 and I did updates and this crazy video capture/tv tuner card does not work in Ubuntu and I am afraid that the thing is not supported. Where can I find out if it is supported or not?:confused:

If it is supported then how do I get it to work????
