Hey, so I know there are about a dozen other posts like this, after browsing nearly all of them I did not find one that matched my problem.

I recently installed ubuntu 7.04 on this computer, which is part of a network of others, one vista, two xp's. The two xp's are fully accessible after setting up samba. The vista is the main computer and is accessible by both other xp's but not the ubuntu. When I try to access the files it asks for a password, though the files on the vista are not password protected, nor is our linksys router. I did set up a password through samba, though it was not the code it accepted. If needed I can screencap the error message.
