This may sound like a very picky point, but I do find it difficult working on a keyboard which doesn't beep when i hit caps lock or num lock. This is because I often hit caps when i meant tab and vice versa... Guess I should type slower, but i don't

So, is there a way to enable a high beep when a toggle is toggled ON and a low one when it's toggled OFF? or even just a standard tone for both would be better than nothing.

I am not sure what version of Ubuntu you are using But the below works for me.

To enable toggle keys for sound notification when a toggle key is pressed navigate to System > Preferences > Keyboard. Click on Accessibility check enable Keyboard accessibility features and then check the Beep when features turned on or off from keyboard
