I used several of the beta versions and screen brightness control worked out of the box on my Toshiba A135-2286, it has ATI 200M video. I am trying to figure out what got changed within the last three weeks of development that would effect this. I have looked at several threads and all of them require a workaround or script to make things work. It worked before and I didn't have to do anything; it was a fresh install and it worked immediately. When it quit working I figured it was transitional and would get fixed before or soon after final release with an update but it looks like I was wrong. Does anyone know of anything that would help me figure this out?
