how do i start flying?
i checked the flightgear site but i didnt get any of the instructions

can someone tell me a step by step guide on how to do it?
im a noob so they need to be really descriptive...

What version of Ubuntu are you running? If you are running Fiesty you can get an application called "fgrun".

With fgrun you get a GUI that lets you select aircraft, airports, and features.
