Ubuntu and Acronis

I was wodering if the Acronis True Image's BackUp entire hard disk facility can be used if the disk in question is a xp/ubuntu dual boot? (ie both operating systems will be sucessfully backed up in a single file on another drive in case of primary disk failiure). If not, is there anther programme that could achieve this desred result? It works fine. I've done it hundreds of times...

So both sides of the partition (all programmes,settings, documents etc) can sucsessfully be restored from the one file without any problems?
