Evolution and Synchronisation with funambol and scheduleworld

Hi this is a pretty particular problem and I am not sure if there is a cure but maybe someone can help.

I set up my synchronisation with either scheduleworld or (preferably) my.funambol and all works fine first time round.

On second synchronisation, I get additional cards introduced. It appears these are generated from business cards that do not have both a firstname and surname field. Evolution wants to automatically populate these fields.

For example my local library is Milton Keynes Library which I enter to the company field but I do not know anyone there so leave the contact details blank. Evolution saves it as;

FirstName = Milton
SecondName = Keynes
Surname = Library
FullName = Milton Keynes Library
FileAs = Library, Milton

Not particularly helpful!

If I change the set up so that

FirstName = Milton Keynes Library

it sets FileAs = Milton Keynes Library

Great! I am happy.

I synchronise with the server and in returning the synchronised entries to evolution the server (or evolution) duplicates the card and I get both the amended card I wanted and the default evolution entry that I do not.

I can live with it but I get 600 entries when there are only really 400.

How can I disable the auto completion of the card contact fields in evolution to prevent his happening?

I am on Ubuntu 8.04.
