There is a Eudora version for Macs. Can we run it in Ubuntu?

no, but eudora is now sorta merged with thunderbird... and there were windows versions of eudora that you should be able to get working in wine.

i have Eudora working in Wine but since Mac's are Unix based which is close to Linux I thought it might be better to use the Mac version.
Incidentally Eudora is NOT merged with Thunderbird. There is a sort of Eudora GUI on the old Thunderbird. Not the same by a long shot.

Not the same by a long shot.Yes I understand that, but none-the-less, this seems to be the future of eudora.

Well having got the last Eudora version for Windows I'm going to hang in with that on Wine.
Sorry but the Penelope is a step backwards.

Sorry but the Penelope is a step backwards.that would be what I recommend. I think that most eudora users agree.
