View Full Version : [gnome] WebilderApplet

I have been using Webilder successfully for months but I have noticed strange behavior since I have upgraded to 8.04. About every other time I log into my Gnome desktop I get the following error:

The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GNOME_WebilderApplet"

It asks me if I want to keep or discard the applet. If I pick discard, I lose it and have to re-add it to my menu bar. If I choose to keep it, the error box closes but it does not load the applet. If I log out and log back in again, the applet loads normally and I do not get the error message. It seems like it is about every other login regardless if I logged out or rebooted or anything like that.

Any ideas on what is causing this behavior? It is mildly annoying, but not a show stopper.

Thanks

I'm afraid that I don't know, however have you tried to reinstall it?

An alternative is to remove it and download the Hardy version from Getdeb (http://www.getdeb.net/release.php?id=2495).
