Animated Background HELP

Im a new user to UBUNTU Hardy...and LOVING IT!!!!
I installed a deb repository from this page

the effect is incredible but my laptop is getting hotter by the minute and I cant turn it off!!!!
There is a comand thats supposed to kill it...but i keep getting a error message....
Please I need help urgently!!!!!

in terminal type killall and the name of the screensaver you are using for the effect

eg.
killall glmatrix

or switch to tty terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F2 and type the same as above and then Ctrl + Alt + F7 te get back

But I tried that and the message displayed is Login Incorrect...
Dont know what to do!!!....

you should type the same username and password u type when u login in ubuntu

killall xwinwrap

THANX!!!!....I stopped it!!!...by the way...I know its not the right thread but if you could help me with the installation of Game...it would be great!!!...I installed CUBE 2 but the game keeps crashing after just 15 min of play!!!...dont know what to do...I downloaded the recent patch but dont know how to run it!!!...
