Well Ladies and gents, its back to it.

Over the next 2 weeks, Artificial and I will be working heavily on getting a games list together for the First Offical UbuntuForums WAN party. The servers will be in Atlanta , GA , compliments of yours truely. What we need from you, the gamer user base of the Ubuntu Forums , is what do you want to play?

I know that this type of event was planned by Jdodson before, and Ill be working my hardest to make this type of event both regular and a reality. But we need your help.

Totally nice - when are you planning on throwing this one?

...downloading the last 5,7 megs of nexuiz (from sourceforge) seems to fail!

Any ideas? (I also tried the other mirrors - same thing!)

Sounds fun, I haven't played games on linux before but I'd be up for it!

Sounds fun to me. But I don't see America's Army on that list. AA runs great on linux. I'm not familiar with any of the other games.

No knowledge of games or linux games in general but what simple games are available where you dont need to read a book and learn 200 keystrokes and not to sensitive to lag ?

Someting simple, fast and easy is always nice. Something similair to Unreal tournament or Delta force which we used to play at work (in our lunch hours of course). ;)
