Ok, so the psubuntu forums are too inactive to get an answer, perhaps someone here can help me.
I need to install a package called rpm2cpio however, the only way to get this on my ps3 (according to the tutorial when installing ubuntu 7.10 with ps3 support) is to use a wired connection. this is an impossibility for me as wireless internet is all i can get in my home (using neighbors but not stealing. i have permission >.< )
so what i need to know is, is there a way to download this from my mac (or xp install on said mac) and then use a usb drive to put it on my psubuntu install, and actually unpack and install the necessary files?
perhaps someone could download it from the SPM (is that right? im new to linux) and upload the file so i could download it?
