No Effects

Ok so after upgrading to hardy I cant get my desktop effects to work. I keep getting the error " desktop effects could not be enabled" I have an ATI Radeon x1300 and could really use some help thanks.

Try running
compiz --replace
in the terminal and post the output so I can get a better idea of what your problem is.
